London, Tuesday, 4 July, 2023
The Qatar Financial Centre PMI decreased from 55.6 to 53.8 in June 2023, indicating the weakest increase in the non-energy sector since March, but the most recent data still shows a significant improvement in business conditions.
Strong growth in new business was correlated with expanding tourism demand, competitive pricing, new marketing strategies, and their positive client reputation.
With the exception of a temporary adjustment in January following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, output has increased every month for more than three years.
Despite a further rise in input demand, employment levels increased and suppliers' delivery times continued to be shortened.
The non-energy private sector is nonetheless hopeful about the future, largely because of new initiatives, business expansion strategies, and marketing initiatives.
