Producer Prices in Chile Drop for the Tenth Month

Following a 5.8% decline in the previous month, producer prices in Chile fell 6.7% year over year in November 2023, signalling the ninth consecutive month of producer deflation.
Mining prices fell more quickly (-10.5% vs. -8.1% in October), whereas manufacturing prices fell more slowly (-2.9% vs. -4.1%). Additionally, utility prices decreased (2.5% versus 2.7%).
Producer prices decreased 1.1% on a monthly basis in November, following a 1% increase in October.
